Dale F. Shaw, age 91 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on September 6, 2025 at Golden Years Nursing Home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 18, 1933 the son of Clifford and Gladys (Wynn) Shaw. He was educated in Ross Local Schools and was a lifelong farmer and school bus driver. He loved restoring tractors, especially John Deeres. He loved his family, especially his grandkids and he enjoyed giving them gator rides. He was known as everybody's Pappaw. Dale is survived by his children, David (Debbie) Shaw, Dennis (Regina) Shaw and Debbie (Gibbie) Owens; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; one nephew, Cliff Booker; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Norma Booker, and his niece Cheryl Snyder. The family would like to send a special thank you to the caregivers at Golden Years, especially Lisa and Kaylee. A visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd. Ross, Ohio on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Golden Years Nursing Home, 2436 Old Oxford Rd., Hamilton, OH 45013.
