HAMILTON, David William, 21 of Beavercreek, died Friday January 13, 2006. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Hamilton and maternal grandfather, Marlin Thevenin. David is survived by his parents Elvin L. & Vi A. (nee Thevenin) Hamilton of Beavercreek, 2 brothers and a sister-in-law Benjamin & Stephanie Hamilton of Kettering, Jonathan Hamilton of Beavercreek, paternal grandmother Beatrice Hamilton, maternal grandmother Vivian Thevenin, 2 nephews Benjamin II & Pierce Hamilton, niece Phoenix Hamilton; special friend Jenny Rogers, numerous other family members and friends. David was a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for 'Saint Cycle' & Nevertheless'. Celebration services of David's life will be 6:30 PM Thursday January 19, 2006 at the Kettering Assembly of God Church, 2250 East Stroop Road, with Reverend Doug Cooper presiding. David's family will receive friends at the church Thursday evening from 5:30 PM until the time of service. Contributions if desired may be made to David's family to assist with funeral services. Arrangements entrusted to TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. David was deeply loved by his family, friends and band family and fans, he will be greatly missed.

what can anyone say about David ... who had the good fortune of knowing him... he was a mega talent..super respectful, kind, intelligent...generous...hillarious.... I will always have the song "Peace" with David, that we co-wrote together... it is a fan fav.. as well as when Prince say a live performance... he invited us to his show in Las Vegas..... he will be greatly missed... and we will always be sad he never made it out to the ocean with sparkling diamonds as he used to put it.... His legacy is his family and Son... if anyone has not heard the song peace.... please go to www.siridyal.com it is on the "We R Here CD" I feel like the world missed out on some great music from him... but he is forever embedded in out song Peace... and in our hearts... he was a truly Special being... miss u kid!

I remember seeing Dave out in the clubs we'd usually be there to see Clemmer and spend time with the Family. I was only blessed to really know him this past year. I was out again seeing Clemmer with my sister Trish and there was Dave looking like the Rock Star he was. He introduced himself and became a good friend to me and became a very special part of my sister's life. His talent was one thing but his real gift was his capacity to love with no expectations. He was so humble and amazed every time we'd turn out for his shows and grateful for the many many sincere compliments we'd give. To be in his presence was a privilege and I am thankful.But to quote a great band "We're not stuck here we're just visiting so don't get caught up." See ya later Dave can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!! Daisy

I have so many good memories of dave.. If only I knew where to start.. Dave was a wonderful kid and was really close to my mother.. I went to watch him play one night with my mom and i just melted when i heard him sing.. he had one special song that stuck with me and it was called angel.. i found it so amazing that someone could just write music and play it as well as he did.. my one special memory of dave was when he came over to my house one night.. guitar in hand.. and he was sooo sunburnt! lol he needed aloe so bad and just luckily we had some!lol everytime i saw that kid i always made him sing for me and that is something ill never forget and ill keep close to my heart.. he was soo talented and i cant believe hes gone.. i still have his cd and ill always keep it.. i recently moved up to chicago where i am now and when i first arrived in november i had his cd with me.. its something i feel i couldnt be without.. i play it all the time.. and had all my friends up here listen to it.. and still to this day i get asked hey can i borrow that one guys cd.. he had the ability to really touch people through his music and his great personality.. ill always have him in my heart and ill always keep a tight hold on him and his music.. you'll be forever missed man! and if you ever get sunburnt up there just remember we'll always have some aloe!

I met David when he was 12,He had a special way about him. He was so funny, He paid me the most interesting compliment I ever recieved. He said, Your eyes are like cupcakes swimming in a river of sugar! I will never forget David, and my heart and prayers go out to his family.

I met David at the Attic and that night he came up to me and ask me if he could have my phone number and take me out on a date. Of course I did I couldn't say no to that beautiful voice and smile. He was so kind. He came over to my house a couple days later and the time he was over there he kept me and my mother smiling and laughing the whole time. Talking about how when he was little he used to autograph everything in his room. He was so sweet. I will never forget him and he will always be kept in a special place in my heart. Your talent of singing touched my heart when I first heard your cd and now when I listen to it it still touches my heart. Rest in Peace. You will make the perfect Angel.

To his family I never met you guys but you have to be a wonderful family for raising such a wonderful son. I am so incredibley sorry and I know he is watching down on all you guys so stay strong and he will help you out with all of it. With all my love.

I didnt really no David that well, but he delivered my pizza's one day and handed me his CD, I loved his music, and im very sad that he is gone. David was a very sweet guy, he and my brother were good friends thoughout Middle school, and after they left, they didnt really talk much anymore. I wish i could have got to no David better, he will be missed.

I am Vi’s California sister. I am sitting in my cabin in the mountains wishing I was with my family today at the memorial service about to start in Ohio. I had always expected that Dave would come out to spend some time with me as he pursued his career. Dave was a star, so my husband and I named a celestial star as his memorial. I know he would have thought it was sweet.

david and i also went to elementry school together having many classes together throughout school. my fondest memory of david is when he during the last few weeks of our senior year in high school. he brought in his guitar in and played the class a song he wrote for graduation. you could tell he was doing what he loved, he made most of the class cry. i still remember that song, singing it in my head when i think of high school. seeing david usually meant you would leave him with a smile. you will be missed

One of my very first memories of Dave was during the student talent show at Ferguson Middle School. I remember sitting among the other packed in students, and gazing up at him in such awe, I remember being taken back by his raw talent. What was so unique about him was that, not only was he gifted musically, but his immense passion for it was clearly evident. Although we lost touch over the years, I always thought of Dave as a good friend, and loved listening to his music. Myself and everyone who knew Dave were blessed to have known such an inspiring presence, who will truly be missed. My condolences and sympathy go out to the Hamilton family, I am so sorry for such a great loss. Dave will always be with us in our memories and hearts.

How deeply shocked and saddened I was to hear of your great loss! You and your sons were always there to make our pictures be the best they could be, and I consider you friends for life. He went to church with me and led our worship team for quite some time. Up on stage with a guitar in his hands he was on top of the world. King. They set up and recorded a concert for my band. It turned into a good compilation thanks to Dave. I got to know him a little bit and always encouraged his music and always hoped to see him on the big stage. I can see now that through his many friends he really DID make it big.
