News Death Notice
KENDALL, David Anthony age 43 of Dayton, OH, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011. David was born July 29, 1968 in Springfield, OH, son of the late John and Sylvia (Jones) Kendall. He loved fishing and traveling. David is survived by his daughter, Jazmyne Kendall; grandson, Jaylen Lamar Williams; fiancée, Veronica Spencer; 3 step-children; 2 step-grandsons; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Ogburn and best friend, Kenyan Watson, Sr. A Memorial Service will be held 7 PM Friday, August 12, 2011 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton, OH 45415. The family will receive visitors 6-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Online memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerhazelsnider.com

Dear cousin Dave, as children we played together only growing up apart and rekindling that kinship as adults. I'm at a loss because we vowed to not let the years slip by us. Unfortunately they did and I didn't have a chance to see your smile one last time. You're at peace now my brother the Lord has called you to serve in His army. To the family of David Kendall, you have my deepest condolences. I grew up with Dave on Hoover Ave. We played football and basketball almost every day. We shared rides back and forth from practice as kids between our parents. Dave was an intrecal part of my childhood. I am at a loss for words to think that he is no longer here for me to look up or try to find. Dave may you rest in Peace and may God Bless your family.
