Delano ADAMS Obituary


News Death Notice

ADAMS, Delano R. age 75, passed away in his Tennessee home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Del was preceded in death by his parents, Orel H. and Oma (Clem) Adams Buckley. Del was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Once a Dayton resident, Del was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and a former Dayton police officer. Del is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Mary; his two sons, Michael (Lisa) Adams of Englewood, Matthew (Colette) Adams of Union; three grandsons, Michael (Elizabeth) Adams, Joshua (Cassie) Adams, and Tommy Bartley; one great- grandson, Ethan Adams; two step-daughters, Annette Capriotti of Columbus, OH., and Pam (Rob) Clay of Columbus, OH.; thirteen step-grandchildren and three step great-grandsons. A private celebration of Del's life is pending. The family would like to send a special thank you to Heather, Chris, Will and Rhonda at Amedisys Hospice for their loving care and to neighbors Loretta, Perry, Chris and others for all the wonderful things they have done for Del and Mary. In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation can be made to Amedisys Hospice, 1420 Dutch Valley Rd., Suite C, Knoxville, TN., 37918.
