Dorothea Kupka-Tyner Obituary
Family-Placed Obituary
KUPKA-TYNER, Dorothea passed away February 20, 2005. She was born in Giessen Germany in 1930. In 1947, she fled communist East Germany to Freiburg West Germany. She attended Freiburg University earning her degrees in Economics and in Education. She met her future husband, Friedrich Kupka in 1950 and they wed in 1957. After her husband died, she immigrated to the United States. Dorothea taught German and Math in Orange County, CA. In Dayton, she was very active in a German Ladies club. Dorothea is survived by her loving son, Karl (Dorthy) Kupka, her grandson, Ashton; granddaughter, Aria; and by her stepson, Troy Tyner. Dorothea will be remembered for her artistic and creative cooking, strong sense of giving and belief in family. Dorothea will be interred at Calvary Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 23,2005 with Pastor Angela Schenck officiating at the Calvary Chapel. Friends and well-wishers are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the First Presbyterian Church of Yellow Springs, 314 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs, OH 45387. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Routsong Funeral Home website at www.routsong.com. Arrangements in care of Routsong Funeral Home.

Liebe Familie Karl (Dorthy) Kupka, die Enkelkinder Ashton und Aria, lieber Troy Tyner.
Mit sehr großem Bedauern und Traurigkeit nehmen wir Anteil am Heimgang Eurer Mutter Dorothea.
Sie war für Annemarie immer ein lieber Gesprächspartner und eine große menschliche Stütze während unseres langen Aufenthaltes im schönen Dayton/Ohio und bei den Besuchen in Beavercreek. Danke, daß wir Eure Gäste und Freunde sein durften.
Lieber Troy, herzlichen Dank, daß Sie an uns gedacht und uns über den Heimgang Iher Mutter Dorothea unterrichtet haben.
Wir werden, speziell am Mittwoch um 01:00 Uhr, während der Beisetzung, mit unseren Gedanken bei Euch sein.
Alles Liebe und erdenklich Gute für alle Familienmitglieder.
