Douglas MILDON Obituary

MILDON, Douglas K. Age 63, of Xenia, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at his home. Doug was born January 16, 1955 in Ogden, Utah to Keith B. & Lois A. (Ansley) Mildon. He was preceded in death by his father. In addition to being survived by his mother, Doug is survived by his loving wife of the past 41 years, Christie A. (Stevenson) Mildon; daughter, Michelle Sweigart (Josh); two grandchildren, Max & Alex Sweigart; two sisters, Marlece Dyer (Kent) and Valaine Faul; and by his extended family & many good friends. Doug was a long-time member of the Sports Car Club of America, Western Ohio Region and very active in the Steward Program. He graduated from Stebbins High School, class of 1973. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Chaplain Randy Reed will officiate. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Doug to either the Wounded Warriors Project or the Disabled American Veterans.
