News Death Notice

NAYLOR, Earl Wade 91, of St. Jacob Il, formerly of Springboro, Ohio passed from this life on January 14th, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Earl was a gentle, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Earl was born March 18th, 1924 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky to Tom and Julia Naylor. He was a WWII US Army veteran. He eventually found his way to Dayton, Ohio where he worked at GM for over 30 years, retiring in 1980. For the next 31 years, he and his wife June were successful antique dealers living in Springboro, Ohio. They moved to St. Jacob, Illinois in 2011, where they were lovingly cared for by their son Mark, and daughter-in-law, Marilyn. Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy June, in 2011, parents, sister Katherine Folger, son Steven Naylor, and granddaughter Michelle. Earl is survived by sons, Mark (wife Marilyn) Naylor, Gary (wife Diane) Naylor of Springboro, and daughter Constance Naylor Smith (husband Arthur Smith) of Maumee, Ohio: grandchildren Brian, Jennifer, Andrew, Karen, Kimberly, and Craig: great- grandchildren Emily, Allison, Austin, Albelardo Jr., and Holger. A celebration of Earl's life will be held on April 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Springboro, Ohio. Friends and family who wish to attend can obtain more information by emailing [email protected].
