Edward Hardaway Obituary
News Death Notice
HARDAWAY, Edward Sr. age 63 lifelong resident of Dayton, OH passed away December 6, 2008. He was a graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School class of 1963. Edward was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after two years of service. He attended Central State University. He was a retired employee of General Motors after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Hardaway, parents George and Lobelia Hardaway, son, Skylier S. Hardaway Ross, stepson, Tommy Flucas Jr. sister, Theresa L. Hardaway. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: children Lisa C. Hardaway, Edward (Oletha) Hardaway Jr., Theresa L. Ross Hardaway, sister Rosemary Buxton, step children, Shaleesha and Kendall Flucas, niece Deedra Buxton, nephew, Phillip (Valerie) Buxton, grandchildren, Tamra and Brittany Cofield, Aisha, Ariane and Edward DeShaun Hardaway, Skylier and Shavar Ross, Aaliyah Sumlin, and Malachi Barnes; two great-grandsons; devoted cousins, Nellie Fay Watson, Sherri R. Robinson and aunt Rose E. Burks (Detroit, MI) close friends, Sam, Billy, Mike, Jerome, Casey, and Carl, a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held 12:00 P.M., Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 1501 W. Third St. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to service. Rev. Harold Cottom III, officiating. Interment Greencastle Cemetery. Services Respectfully Rendered by H. H. Roberts

Sorry we missed Eddie at the class reunion. He was ill and could not be with us. It would have been nice to have the opportunity to see him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of his passing. We are sure you miss him greatly. However, you will always have him in your heart.
