Elsie and I met when she was hired at Armco International back in the 70's. She and I became very good friends and have done many things together. We enjoyed working together, we enjoyed reading hundreds of books and discussing, we enjoyed crocheting and making many afghans, we enjoyed going to the casinos and of course just talking. I know the love she had for her family and I loved her. She will be truly missed and my sympathy and condolences go out to her entire family.

I will never forget how Mrs. Hightower treated me like I was her own when I visited your home as a child. I will never forget the love she shared and how that spoke to her great character. I will never forget that.

Thoughts and prayers to the Hightower family. I worked with Elsie at Armco International Div and we became great friends. I saw her a few months ago at Bob Evans and we had such a great visit with each other. She was one of a kind. I always enjoyed her conversation and her uplifting personality. She will be missed.
