Eunice MONITA Obituary

MONITA, Eunice H. Of Huber Heights, died on February 7, 2017, following a brief illness. She was a beautiful woman who was selfless, loving and considerate. Mrs. Monita, age 84, is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bear Monita and Barbra Stonerock; and "adopted daughter," Chie Gregory-Kupper. A native of Cincinnati, she moved with her family in 1965 from San Antonio, Texas to Huber Heights. She was a resident of the city for more than 50 years. Mrs. Monita worked at Oberer's Flowers for nearly 35 years and was known for her attention to providing great customer service. She was an active volunteer with the school system and youth athletics in the preceding years. She was proud to be an American and wore a flag pin every day to demonstrate her patriotism and love for our country. A devoted fan of the San Antonio Spurs basketball team, she kept a schedule next to the remote to make sure she never missed a televised game. Mrs. Monita was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles Monita; mother, Helen Collier; father and stepmother, William and Elizabeth Lytle; and sister-in-law, Mary Lytle. Other survivors include her brother, David Lytle of San Antonio; and nieces and nephews Roseanna Calloway, Lili Murphy, Melissa Pedersen, Joyce Monita, Frances Perez, Cindy Soto, Anthony Monita, Carol Garcia, and Dominic Monita. Her family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and support provided by Dr. Pam Werner and her compassionate team of nurses (Charlotte, Robbi and Denise), as well as Kettering Medical Center and Hospice of Dayton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kettering Medical Center Foundation or Hospice of Dayton Foundation. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Mrs. Monita's life.

So sorry to hear of your Mothers passing.
I just saw her and talked to her when Jeannie brought her to Bills visitation in September.
It was always a pleasure to see her when we were grocering shopping at Krogers.
Eunice always took care of our flower
orders from our Amazing Grace Bridge Club.
She was a lovely lady and I know she will be remembered in that way.
