Family-Placed Obituary

NIKOLAI, Frances M. "Frannie" 71, a resident of Treaty Manor, Greenville, OH, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2004. She was born in Marenisco, Michigan and had been a resident of Greenville for the past twenty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marcella (Black) Frederick and her step father, Russell Black. Frannie was a loving Mother, Best Friend and Grandmother. She is survived by two daughters; Patricia Brown (Steve Lambert) and Barbara Nikolai, both of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Sara and Libby Brown, also of Dayton, OH, and a host of many dear friends. A special mention needs to be made for her beloved cat and faithful companion "Shadow". Frannie had worked as a waitress for a number of restaurants in the Greenville area, and was most noted for her quick wit and friendly demeanor. She was a member of the American Legion, and was an active member of the historical committee for the local chapter. At the request of the deceased, Frannie's remains were donated to the Wright State University Anatomical and Gift Program. A memorial service to celebrate Frannie's life will be held Sunday, June 27, 2004 at 2 pm at the Oliver Funeral Home, Greenville, OH with the Rev. Mark Gardner officiating. The family will receive visitors Sunday from 1 pm till time of services at 2 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.oliverfuneralhomeinc.com.
