News Death Notice
DETMER, Frank Charles Sr. "Sonny" age 73, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Roberta Detmer and step-mother Dorothy Detmer; sister, Nancy Gimmison and grandson Gary Hartsock. Frank was devoted to his loving wife of 54 years Leah Detmer; sons, Frank (Ann) Detmer, Dan (Sue) Detmer, and Ken (Denise) Detmer; daughters, Robbi (Jan) Treise and Denise Freitas; sister, Charlene Wright and brother, Edward (Kris) Detmer, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was the owner and founder of Detmer and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning. A special thanks to the Miami Valley Hospital CICU Staff. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2010 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 22, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 820 Bowen St. Dayton, OH 45410 Fr. Christopher Coleman celebrant. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Frank's name to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School-Gary Hartsock Memorial Fund 420 Fee Ave. Melbourne, FL 32901. Condolences may be made online to the family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com
