News Death Notice
THOMPSON, Gary A. Age 66, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2015. He was born March 22, 1948 in Dayton, the son of James Victor and Ruth L. (Waugh) Thompson. Gary served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam and was a longtime employee of the Kroger Company. He was an avid Nascar fan and sports enthusiast. Preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother of Florida; two sisters, Pamela (Phillip) Sweet of Florida, Melody (Jeff) Eulett of Medway; a brother, Victor (Patricia) Thompson of New Carlisle; five nephews; a great-nephew and one on the way; as well as many friends and co-workers. The family will hold a celebration of life memorial privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his memory.
