GEORGE DOAT Obituary

DOAT, George C.

Age 84, of Clayton, passed away at home on Sunday, January 3, 2021. George was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Juanita Doat, and brother, John Doat. George loved to keep things simple. He served in the U.S. Army in the 1950's. His family was very important to him. He also loved the Browns and raised standard bred harness racing horses. He was a social man who enjoyed life and was always down to Earth. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine Doat; children, Mark Doat and Sharon Carr (Colin Moore); grandsons, Andy Doat, Austin (Bri) Doat, and Cody Carr; great-grandson,

Bowen Doat; sister, Barbara Doat of WA; special nephew, Brian Gonzalez of NV. Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Fri, at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the American Heart Association
