News Death Notice

EWING JR., George E. 85, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. He retired from DPL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; parents, George E, Sr. and Gertrude; (2) sisters, Marjorie White, Carolyn Burton. Survivors include (2) children, Karen E. Ewing (Fiancée Charles), Richard Ewing (Debra); (5) grandchildren, Byron Ewing, (Marla), La Frances Ewing, Toby Ewing (Billi), Anthony Ewing (Vania), Richard Ewing; (16) great-grandchildren; (4) special nephews; (3) nieces; special friend, Carol Allen, and many other relatives and friends. Services are Friday at 11 a.m., September 10, 2010 at Bowman Funeral Chapel - South, 2060 Germantown St; Minister Melvyne Florence officiating. Public Viewing: 9 a.m. until time of service. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Interment: Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bowman Funeral Chapel LLC.
