KINZELER, George Gustave 93, Oakwood, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014. George was born August 15, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Gustave and Elizabeth (Lovell) Kinzeler. George was preceded in death by his wife, of 61 years, Helen in 2007. George is survived by his son, George and grandson Sam; son Dave and wife Linda and grandchildren Nicole (Matt) Meier & Brian (Mandy) Kinzeler; daughter Kathy and husband Ralph Mantica of Kettering and grandchildren Chris (Ashley), Michael & Tim Mantica; son Don and wife Mary and grandchildren Sarah, Rebecca, Jessica, Jennifer, Danny, Katherine & Andy Kinzeler. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Tallon & Ashton Mantica & Bella Meier. Also survived by brother, Tom Kinzeler, and brother -in- law and sister- in- law, Harry & Virginia Worman. George was a Broker/Realtor in the Dayton area for 63 years. He was active as a reader and usher at St. Albert the Great Parish. He was an Oakwood Rotarian for many years as well as a member of Knights of Columbus Council #500, an "Exhausted Eagle" as a 1938 graduate from Chaminade and a "Golden Flyer" as a University of Dayton 1942 graduate. After graduation from UD he entered the US Army as a 2nd Lt and spent most of his time in Italy, Africa & Sicily during WW II. Mass of Christian Burial, 12:00 noon, Monday, June 2 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Avenue, with Fr. Tom Meyer and Fr. James Manning, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Woodland Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Albert the Great St. Vincent de Paul Society. Some 25 years ago as a new Realtor, I worked with George on one of my first real estate transactions. George was a true gentleman & professional in every way. I won't soon forget meeting George and doing business with him over the years following, he was a very fine man. My condolences to his family.
