Greg McPherson Obituary
Family-Placed Obituary
Age 52 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Grandview Hospital. He was self- employed as a painter and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his daughter and son: Natalie and Dylan McPherson of Englewood, former wife: Joy McPherson of Englewood, brother and sister-in-law: Robert (Susan) McPherson of Tipp City, sister and brother-in-law: Karen (Gary) Porter of Washington Twp., nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Houston McPherson and Jeanette (Adams) Tumbleson and brother: Rex McPherson. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Happy Corner Church of the Brethren (7037 Union Road) with Pastor Kelly Meyerhoeffer officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be held privately at the Dayton National Cemetery. Joy, Natalie, and Dylan we never know when we have to prepare for this and I was not expecting this at all. I loved Greg like an uncle and will never forget his bright smile and his funny sense of humor but I know that I was just a young one when I saw him last but I will never forget him. He was my uncle Greg and my thoughts and prayers go out to you love you all.

Dear Joy, Natalie and Dillon,
I am so sorry about your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. We are never prepared for losing someone we love.
I know the pain you are going through it does eventually get better with each passing day.
We will always have our memories and when i remmember Greg i remember when we were kids and the fun we had, especially the time Dad found Greg, Karen, me and my brother Mike all smoking grandmas pall mall cigarettes behind the house.
