Guido Terzo Obituary

TERZO Jr., Guido Patrick Age 77 of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in Humble, TX while receiving cancer treatments. He was born on May 9, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Guido Vincent Terzo, Sr. and Rose (D'amico) Terzo. After graduating from Hamilton Catholic in 1960, Guido joined the U.S. Navy where he served faithfully for four years. He was a boxer in the Navy and also won an Ironman Competition while serving, beating out the entire 7th fleet. During his time in the Navy, he served as a Radarsman, which lead him into the electrician field upon returning home. Guido was an electrical contractor for 20 years before owning and operating his own business, Terzo Electric, for over 30 years where he was a master electrician. He was a member of IBEW #648, the Elks, the Eagles, Knights of Columbus, the Oldies but Goodies Car Club, and had been a member of the YMCA for decades, taking his son with him every day after work before heading to the local buffet for dinner. Guido was also a huge Ohio State fan, loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing in Brookville, and had a special bond with his one and only granddaughter, who he always bragged about painting his nails for him. He had a zest for life and was enjoying his retirement with his friends, including attending live music concerts whenever he could. No matter where Guido went, whether it was down the road or across the country, people knew the name Guido Terzo, which says a lot about his character and the type of man he was he will truly be missed. Those left to cherish his memory are his fianc?, Ada Maria, who remained right by his side through the entire duration of his cancer treatment; children, Anthony Terzo, Elise Ainslie, and Aimee Terzo; granddaughter, Avery Ainslie; siblings, Anita (Robby) Robinson, Dante (Andrea) Terzo, and Alicia (Berry) Terzo; nephews and nieces, Jeff Terzo, Justin Terzo, Josh Terzo, Joseph Terzo, Antonio Vincent Terzo, Renata, and Gregory Robinson; and loving cousin, Johnny Terzo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, Hamilton. I truly miss my Buddy Guides. I loved him as a friend & employee. His kindness & GREAT sense of humor are just 2 of Guido's traits I will miss. I imagine he is upgrading Heaven with a new breaker box & eating steak with the other Angels. Peace Guido. I loved ya. Rick Smith

Guido Terzo, was my next door neighbor for many years, this man had a heart of gold. He was so full of life, and was always the first to help when someone was in need. In my mind, Guido was the BEST!!! I will always remember him with love in my heart. He shows so much love for his family. God, has a true soldier in heaven with Guido by his side.

Rest In Peace Guido. From the Ainslie Family

All that was mentioned in Obit of Guido was on spot & still not a complete picture of this beautiful, spirited man.I met him through My Father James D. Smith. He was an apprentice working under my Dad when they were building Kings Island in early 70's. I was with them at Duff's smorgusboard "all you can eat for $4". Guids LOVED fried chicken. After his 2nd time there after eating ALL the chicken they had for a 2nd time, the Manager came over to the table, handed Guido $4 and asked him to not come back anymore! Guids response.."I'll take the $4, but you can't keep me from coming back" I was in awe at an age of 13. I saw him eat all the chicken they had at LeSourdesvill amusment park during a local 648 pic-nic. Guido ended up being my boss in his business for awhile & when the day was done, we come back to shop & he'd fire up the grill & cook us some nice steaks & drink some beer.Later he was a Landlord of mine,But most of all he was a Great friend. And a good landlord & boss with a sensational sense of humor. I live in Dayton now & the ONLY reason I found thatt my friend passed was that my Wife saw the obit. She NEVER had the Pleasure of meeting Guids, but she always hear me talking about him. One day after work, he took me out for a ride inn his prized 1965 Mustang fastback saying " Come on Rickie, lets go find some Vipers to chase!" LOL!!! What a ride. My dad told me that he went with him to buy it and it was new on show room floor. Guido got in & said "this isn't brand new! It has 4 19ths of a mile on it!" Dad cracked up & explained they had to drive it on to the delivery truck & off! LOL!I could go on & on with more wonderful moments in my time with Guids. But let me suffice to say, the world has lost a light of Mr. Guido Terzo. I loved his Dad also & I want to express my sympathies to Amy & all the Rest of the Terzo crew. May peace be with you with Love in your hearts. Peace, Rick Allen Smith
