To the Bonnett Family, My deepest sympathy and warmest regards to your entire family upon your loss. Some of my fondest memories transcend time and I find myself at your wonderful bookstore. I only met HMB late n life but quite enjoyed each encounter. I also had the pleasure of reading a number of his stories from the pulps. Two of my favorites were the "Crusher O'Shea" stories recently reprinted in the book of the same name. I treasure my signed copy of that book and only wish that he had written more. RIP, my friend.

I always enjoyed seeing Mr. Bonnett at the store, smoking his cigars and telling jokes while wearing his sport coat & hat.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
Sincerely,

Although he has already been gone from the store for a while, I still expect to round the corner and see him there, with his cigar, sitting in that hard wood chair scrutinizing everyone who approaches his domain. He will be missed.

I knew Mr. B for almost 40 years.
He was an acute, hard-working man
with a droll sense of humor. There
are many around who will miss him.
