Riffe, Harold Ray

Harold Ray Riffe, 79, of Beavercreek, passed away April 5, 2025 at the Ridge of Beavercreek under hospice care. Harold was born in Wurtland, Kentucky on July 29, 1945 to Raymond and Mildred Riffe. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pamela Riffe Jordan. He is survived by wife, Diana Lynn Riffe; son, Brian David Riffe; daughter, Amanda Beth Riffe; sisters, Fonda (Ed) Donaldson of North Carolina and Joyce Helpenstell of Texas; brother-in-law, Tim Jordan of Ohio; nieces, Michelle (David) Deardorff of Tennessee, Amy Donaldson of Indiana, Stacey (Mike) Shaw of Texas and Sarah (Tyler) Holland of Oklahoma; and his nephew, Michael (Kelly) Donaldson of Ohio. Harold graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Finance. He was in the Army ROTC program. After graduation, he served in the United States Army as a Finance Officer and completed a tour of duty in Vietnam. Locating to Dayton, he received his MBA from the University of Dayton. He was employed by NCR and retired as a Controller from Lexus Nexus. Harold was an avid fan of OSU sports and Dayton Flyer Basketball. Vacations on the Outer Banks of North Carolina held special memories for him. The family is grateful for the compassionate care from Day City Hospice, memorial contributions may be made to Special Connections Ministry at Patterson Park Church or Day City Hospice. A private family goodbye will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek.
