SWANGIM, Helen G. "Nens" Age 85 of Medway, formerly of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2017. She was born in Detroit, MI to the late David and Dorothy Durue. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Ralph Durue, and great-grandson Joseph Michaels. Helen is survived by her children Linda (Duane) Kester, Brian (Debbie) Swangim and Keith Swangim, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Dorothy "Babe" Rechlin, numerous other family members, 5 foster children, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. with Pastor Tim Walton officiating. Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12.
