News Death Notice
DUPREE, Henry S. "Dupree" age 76, of Dayton, born February 24, 1938, was called home June 11, 2014, after a brief illness, at Hospice of Dayton. A veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He obtained a B.S. in Computer Technology and Human Services and retired as a computer technician in 1996. Preceded in death by his father, Henry Dupree II; mother & stepfather, Charlesea (Willie) Sheffield; wife, Mildred Dupree; ex-wife, Deloris Gardner; son, Henry Dupree IV. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Donna) Beauchamp, Marcel (Rose) and Karmon (Shanella) Dupree; daughters, Marquette (Michael) Curington, Stacy Dupree (James), Kelly Dupree; sister, Gloria (Louis) Melton; 19 grandchildren; mother of child & lifelong friend, Gertrude Claybrook; special friend, Ina Barbee; a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 11 am Friday, June 20, 2014 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Calling hour 10 am Friday at the funeral home until time of service. The family would like to acknowledge the care given our loved one by the staff at Hospice of Dayton. Condolences may be expressed at [email protected]
