Homer Evans was my World History teacher at Hamilton Taft High School during the 1966-67 school year. His approach, his style, his humor, made class fun and enjoyable for me as well as other students. He was one of the reasons why I chose to become a high school history teacher. His style and classroom approach influenced me during my 30 years of teaching. Homer was a great guy as well as a great educator.

My condolences to his family in their loss of a good man.
