Jake was the perfect teammate and mentor to me in high school. I'm so sorry for your loss Fitzgerald family. I know the New Pal baseball family is wrapping their arms around you right now. I remember Jake went through such a bad hitting slump, he decided to get hit by a pitch what seemed like every at bat, because he knew getting on base was more important than stats. He was ALWAYS team first mentality. I know he's looking over his young family now calling out pitches and giving them the strength to persevere. Micah, I'm so sorry. Stay strong.
