Dear Hilda, it is with sadness that I read of Jim's passing. I remember you both as newlyweds living in the apt. on Noble Ave. You both were always so friendly, and his " hi Murf' always made me smile. He was a special person who brought a lot of smiles to many people. Please accept my sympathy,I know how it hurts to lose that someone special in our lives. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Mrs. Meyer and family: I'm so sorry to hear of Cpt Meyer's passing. My prayers are with you. I would just like to add that I looked forward to the Badin Games at Hamilton High when Cpt Meyer would come over and talk to the firemen at Station One before he went and watched the game. He had so many stories to tell of his days as a fireman. It was always a pleasure to talk to him. I am going to miss Cpt Meyer.
