News Death Notice

SPURLOCK, James M. Sr age 50 of Strawberry Plains TN., passed away September 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Betty Lou Ross; best friend and brother Harry Craft. He is survived by the mother of his 3 children, Lora Spurlock. He was a beloved father of three sons, James Marshall Spurlock Jr., Matthew Colton Spurlock Sr., and Harry Dillon Spurlock. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Miranda, Matthew Jr., and Bryce; daughter-in-laws, Amanda and Rachel; fathers, Willard "Red" Spurlock, and Raymond Ross, step-mother Shan; 6 sisters, Cathy Patrick, Connie Spurlock, Robin Wynn, Trisha Schall, Debbie Vance, and Sharlene Spurlock; 4 brothers, Billy Spurlock, Kenny Creager, Mike Krieger, and Mack Holt; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Funeral service at 12:30pm, September 20, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek Ohio with interment to follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio.
