Janet Huist Obituary
News Death Notice
HUIST, Janet B. [nee Wysinski] age 90 of Old North Dayton, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Louis; daughter, Carol; and brother, Bill Wysinski. Janet is survived by her 3 children: Lori Antku, Joanne Huist Smith, Ron Huist & wife Mary; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her brother, Leonard (Whitey) Wysinski & wife Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Janet was a lifetime member of St Adalbert Polish Catholic Church and the Polish Club of Dayton. Visitation will be Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 9AM to 10AM at the MAGETTI GAVIN FUNERAL HOME, 1508 Valley Street, Dayton, where a prayer service will be held at 10AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30AM Thursday at Saint Adalbert Catholic Church with Father Michael Holloran Celebrant. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to the Maria Joseph Living Care Center in memory of Janet.

To the family of Janet Huist,
I'm so sorry to hear of Janet's death. My mother, Julia Seibert (who just passed away December, 2009, at the age of 92), was cousin to Janet's deceased husband, Louis Huist. My family albums have many pictures from days gone by, of Janet, Marge, Betty and Julia, along with my mother, Julia (Boitor) Seibert, and her sister, Margaret (Boitor) Dabbelt. Janet was a part of our extended family and will be remembered fondly. Condolences and prayers, from the Seibert family to the Huist family. Warm Regards,

We are very sorry to learn that your Mom passed. She was a very caring and wonderful person, and she was always very nice to me whenever I visited Dayton. I will always remember with fondness and a chuckle my weekend date visits to Dayton, and fun times spent there with your family and friends in their old house. Please accept our deepest condolences.
