News Death Notice
MERCH, Janice Marie Age 81 of Kettering passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Grandview Hospital. She was born in Covington, Ohio on June 11, 1934 the daughter of Leo B. & Helen Josephine (Simmons) Hentrich. She retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after over 20 years working in various jobs. She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Craig) Horn, daughter-in-law Carla Ungerecht, 3 granddaughters Rebecca (Andrew) Gross, Katie Horn, and Sarah (Adam) Bell, and 2 great grandchildren AJ Gross and Meredith Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael J. Merch, and a brother Leo J. Hentrich. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Services have been entrusted to the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com

Thank you for taking the time that you and Uncle Fritz did to get me started on the right path. Against all odds and everything that everyone said you made a difference in the outcome of my life. Rest well, say hi to mom and dad and gram and Granpa Leo and Mike and the rest of the family. Its just Teresa, Beth and I still here and I have made sure that the Hentrich name will continue with my four boys. See ya soon Aunt Jan!
