I haven't seen Jason in several years but when someone passes that at one time was always there the time in between doesn't matter at all. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing and give his family my condolences. He will be greatly missed.

I read this beutiful obituary and everything everyone had to say and the people that knew j byrd the best all say the same thing. He is my cousin by blood but in life he was more a best bud or my big brother. He had the biggest heart and couldnt leave anybody on the streets. Jason took me in numerous of times fed and clothed me. Nobody that knew him could wish this pain upon him or us.

Ill pray for you and his three beautiful babies I LOVE YALL

Glenna & Wally,

We wanted to send all our love, blessings and sympathy to you and the kids. Jason was taken from us all too soon and there is no way to describe how much we miss him. He was a great "uncle J-Byrd" to my daughter as if she were his own, and one of the greatest friends we will ever have. I wish I could tell everyone everything he has and meant to us, but I am sure by knowing him they already know what a great person he was. I know he is smiling down on all of us. He will be thought of and missed every day. Again, all our love and prayers to you and the kids.

Glenna and Family,

There is no way to descibe the pain and hurt we all go through when someone we know passes away, but when that person is a son, father or best friend it makes the pain so much worse. I can't speak for everyone he knew, but out of the ten years I knew Jason he was nothing short of being my best friend. He took me into his house when I had nowhere to live, gave me a ride if I nedded one and just was there when I needed him. Out of all those years I could write a hundred pages of good memories and not one page of bad. All I can say is he was taken from us too soon and will be greatly missed by everyone.

Glenna and Family,
There is no way to describe the pain we all go through when someone so close to us passes away, but for that person to be a son, father or a best friend makes the pain so much worse. My condolences are with the whole family. I can't speak for everyone else but to me Jason or as alot of you might have known him J-Byrd was nothing short of being my best friend for the past 10 years of my life, and out of those 10 years I could write 100 pages of good memories we had togather, and not one page of bad. All I can say is there is no possible way to express how much he will be missed by everyone. Rest In Peace and I will see you agin some day.....

How could God take someone so precious and hurt so many. Jason was one of the greatest men I knew, but maybe time just wasn't on this side. Reguardless if he was just playing with his children or just fishing or anything else he was a great person he did have ups and downs just like every other person but his life was beautiful. Just the glimmer in his eyes made you think there is one of the greatest people I'll ever know. I send deepest sympathy to those who were relatives and/or siblings. Jason we all loved you for who you were and for what you were. Deepest Sympathy to Wally and Glenna.
