Michael, although I never got to meet your Father, I sure wish I had. I enjoyed reading a little of his life history here in this legacy. Your Father was truly a Great remarkable Man. A whole life of stories with so much history written right here. This truly amazes me of his accomplishments. His service to our country in the military and then he continued doing so with the VA really impressed me. I am very fortunate to know his Son and wish you the very best to come in life ahead. My Prayers go out to you and your family. Your Friend, Ronny Fort

I knew Mr. Coughlin as he was the father of a very good and dear friend. Back in the late ‘70’s whilst leaving employment with U of F and before beginning my career, he put me to work for a couple months painting houses and apartments for Mary Mueller. He was always telling jokes with a ready chuckle and wit, but an upright character and an exceedingly, pleasant and rare person who became a friend. He is one of the last of a special breed that will definitely be missed. A dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
