I am so sad to see you go. I was blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with you when we worked together and I don´t think I´ve ever met a person with as generous of a heart as yours. You never met a stranger, and you would do anything that you could for someone in need. Thank you for being such a great stepdad to my wife and a great grandfather to my children. You are already missed tremendously and we will cherish your memories forever. I love you John.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved grandfather. He was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and love in our family. His laughter, stories, and unwavering support will be missed dearly.

Grandpa, you taught us the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the joy of life. Your legacy will live on in our hearts and the memories we cherish.

Rest in peace, dear Grandpa. You will forever be remembered and loved. I Love you and I´ll see you again one day Love Adam. "Mooooooooo"

I am so sad to hear of Johnny´s passing. He was a dear friend to my whole family. I was 9 yrs old and he was in his early 20´s. We were neighbors in Southgate on Damascus Ave in South Spfld. I basically lived at their house. He was like a big brother to me and my siblings. I have so many fond memories of Johnny! He knew I was an Elvis Presley fan so he took me to the store, when I was home from College and bought me so many Elvis records that I still have to this day. My dad, being a pastor, invited him to church and he would come to church with our family. Johnny was so thoughtful, caring and giving. All I have are wonderful memories of us all together living on Damascus Ave and sharing so much time together! Love you Johnny. You will be missed!

John, I´m not even sure where to start. I remember being 8 years old when I first met you. You married my momma and took us in and loved us like your own. Worked hard for us everyday and provided for us. I have so many good memories with you I want to hold onto forever. Our first vacations to Graceland. We visited that place several times. And many other places you took us to so we could enjoy life.

You were the first one to introduce me to drywall mud at 8 years old. You were fixing up a room and I asked you if I could feel what the drywall mud felt like in the bucket. You said yes and turned around and started working again. By the time you looked back at me I had both arms in the bucket all the way up to my shoulders playing in the mud. You just said "oh my goodness your mom is going to kill me!" That was just the beginning of our many adventures. Who would´ve ever thought I would´ve grown up and married a drywall finisher.
When I married and had kids, you treated them like they were your own. They were the light of your life and they knew it. You made them feel loved and special. I´ll never be able to express enough my appreciation for that. They loved their papaw dearly.

You are and will be deeply missed. It´s empty at the house without you. The consultation I have is that you are not suffering anymore.
I love you very much ~ Amie
