I was so sorry to hear of the passing of John. From the first day I arrived at Brighton Gardens he became a friend who greeted me with a smile everytime I saw him each day ; when I left and came back to visit there was the smile and a wave. I will also remember him as the "candy man" always sharing with me and others and we with him. He was proud of his family and always interested in others as well. From all that he and others shared about him, he left quite a legacy in the neighborhood, city state, and life in general. I miss the smile and wave each time I come there.
May God Bless each of you--the family-and console you in your loss.I know how much he loved his wife and sons.
I am glad that I got to know some of you at least a little bit. Thank you for your friendliness as well. Sheila Pratt- former resident at B.G.

Dear Carole and Family, You have my deepest sympathy. I shall always remember the kind words John had for all of os who came to know and respect him. I wish that his health would have allowed him to remain here in Sarasota longer as his presence always gave a lift to all. This world has lost a great being, but he shall reign triumphant in eternity.
