SHELL, John Henry 72, of Dayton, passed away on Monday April 16, 2018. He was born September 28, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Harry and Hazel (Starkey) Shell. John enjoyed music, camp, Special Olympics, pro wrestling, and pretty girls. He loved Polaroid photos and the LORD. He never let his limitations prevent him from getting the most out of life. He is survived by his beloved and dear friend Eric; his three nieces and nephew: Shelly Rappold, Ria Bridewell, Tara Ragan, and Andrew Munger; numerous cousins; special friends and caregivers at Echoing Valley Residential Center. The family is grateful to Nursing Supervisor Ashley at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sarah Munger; and two brothers, Paul and David Shell. A celebration of his life will be held from 3-4 pm Sunday April 29, 2018, in the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mike Hout. A private graveside service for the family will be held in Hillgrove Cemetery.
