Joseph HUTCHESON

HUTCHESON, Joseph McCaslin An easy-going, adventurous, and sweet person, Joseph McCaslin Hutcheson, age 40, of Bellbrook, passed away Thursday, November 16th, 2017. He was born in Kettering on September 12th, 1977 to Mary Elizabeth (Kelly) and Daniel McCaslin Hutcheson. Joe was a 1996 graduate of Bellbrook High School, a stand-out athlete on the soccer and track teams. He then earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio University in 2000. A skilled G.I.S. Contractor, Joe collaborated with his fellow associates at Lake Mead Resource Management, and most recently worked for Colorado State at the Offit A.F.B. in Omaha, Nebraska. Joe loved the great outdoors and wildlife. Through photography, he passionately pursued to capture all of its beauty, and the beauty in the little moments, with family and friends. Joe was happy in nature, enjoying all that it had to offer. He thoroughly enjoyed mountain biking, climbing, camping, and water skiing. When inside, he enjoyed woodworking and making furniture. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Anne Therese Weber Day Hutcheson Albers. Joe is survived by his parents, Mary and Dan of Bellbrook, brother Nathan (Saskia), and their children, Annika and Ursula of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Jonathan (Jennifer), and their children, Jack and Tomi of Springboro; sister, Sarah (Sean Holland) of Chicago, IL; loving close friend, Liz Lane of Washington, D.C.; and a plethora of loving aunts, uncles and cousins. To help the family celebrate his life, you are invited to attend life celebration services beginning with a visitation on Wednesday, November 22nd from 9:00-10:30 am at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, and continuing with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. Joe's family requests memorial contributions be made to the Joseph Hutcheson Memorial Fund, c/o Old Fort Bank, 6430 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio 45459 so they can donate to an organization that fosters mental health support and awareness.
