Joseph LIFFICK Obituary

LIFFICK, Joseph E.

Age 91, of Miami Township., passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Suites of Walnut Creek. He was born March 4, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Leon and Martha Liffick. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris; son, Donald Liffick; brothers, Jack and Richard Liffick. Joseph is survived by his loving companion of 31 years,

Barbara Hoffman; sons, Mike (Lisa) Liffick, Jeff (Robyn) Liffick, Roger (Pam) Hoffman, Jr., Ronald Hoffman and Robert (Dennia) Hoffman; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Alberta Sauer and

David (Nancy) Liffick; along with many nieces, nephews,

extended family and friends. Joe was a proud U.S. Navy

veteran of WWII where he served in the South Pacific. After his service to his country, he returned to Dayton and worked for Delco Moraine. He retired after 32 years of dedicated

service from the Mound Laboratory as a Cold War Patriot. Joe attended West Carrollton Methodist Church. A graveside

service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, January 18, 2021, at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Carrollton Methodist Church or the

Shriner's Hospital for Children. Newcomer Kettering Chapel entrusted with his arrangements. Please visit his guestbook at
