Joe often attended our monthly Miami Valley Citizens Informed meetings. He was a wonderful person and a man who loved his country. Emails sent to him have been coming back undelivered for quite a while and we were not sure if he had changed emails, moved, or that something had happened to him. We are sorry for the family's loss...Joe was a kind and considerate man. We are thankful to have known him for a short time. Barbara Burkard

I remember Joe as a gentle giant. There was not a mean bone in his body, and that is no cliche.
