Hapner, Joyce Lee

a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on February 10, 1943, in Harriman, Tennessee, Joyce's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love for family. A proud graduate of Fairmont High School in 1961, Joyce met the love of her life, Ronald (Ron) Hapner, during her senior year. Together, they first resided in Columbus before settling in Kettering, Ohio, where they created a warm and loving home. They later moved to Miamisburg and found themselves blessed with many new friends. For over forty years, Joyce dedicated herself to her work as a legal secretary, a role that not only nourished her professional aspirations but also allowed her to lend her organizational skills to various community endeavors. A visitation will be held from 10 am to noon at Routsong Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (81 N Main St), on December 19, 2024, where family and friends will gather to honor Joyce's memory. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon, celebrating a life dedicated to love and community. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Dayton, friends and family. Joyce will be forever remembered for her laughter and loving spirit, which are evident in a message she left to share: "Sorry to miss more fun, but I got an offer I can't refuse.
