My friend keith vaughn , feels like i just spoke with you on the phone for two hours as if it were yesterday . You taught me more than i could tell you and more than youll ever realize . It was never boring or dull around you . You were fun to be around and full of life . I used to hear drummers tell me not to bring KV over to their house again because after theyd let you play on their kit once they had pieces of their brass knocked out and their kits couldnt handle the beating of you playing them . I always figured it would be the same with everything you did . Nobody i heard of or have known ever knocked peices of brass off of the cymbals and converted them into shrapnel just cuz they loved to play the drums . I never knew how u were so good at em cuz u didnt even have any drums !! Howd you practice i used to wonder . I know now that u played as you lived with your heart . ....you were all heart bro and youll always be in mine as im proud to be able to say to god and anybody you are my true friend . Its been an honor to me knowing you and i pray you are in good hands with the lord and if i can i hope to see you again and jam with the rest of creation and all of heaven in that all star band we used to talk about making . Peace brother , i miss you . I wrote some music inspired by you and knowing you , i hope they find you well and you find them . Til we meet again in time , youll not be forgotten and you will be missed greatly and ill never forget the life lessons youve taught me tho you my not be aware of how much of an impact you had in my life .

Brother Keith- seems like just yesterday when we were all just young bucks, hanging out, listening to Zeppelin and not having a care in the world. You were always there to make us smile, make us laugh and just remind us to have fun. I dont know too many people that loved life as much as you did. No matter where it was, every time we got together I had a smile on my face. Gone way too soon, my friend. Love ya Keith
