Kenneth Spitzig Obituary


Family-Placed Obituary

SPITZIG, KENNETH LEO, Sr. Kenneth Leo Spitzig, a native Daytonian, who was born 1915 to George and Marie Spitzig, was a graduate of Kiser High School and a United States World War II Army veteran, died Friday, April 29, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was 89. Mr. Spitzig, who retired from General Motors after 45 years of service, is survived by his wife of 57 years: Nellie Marcella Mayauskas and is survived by his sons: Ken, Jr. and wife, Jeanne and George Spitzig; by his sister and her husband: Geneva and Les Phillips and by 7 grand- children. Funeral will begin Tuesday, 9 AM in HARRIS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Linden Avenue, Dayton 937/253-3129 followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery with a military honor guard. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 PM. May his soul rest in peace.
