Kimberly MASSEY Obituary
News Death Notice
MASSEY, Kimberly Ann 46, departed this life November 21, 2012. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 23, 1966. She worked for the Kroger Company for more than 10 years. She was affectionately known to customers and fellow employees, as Ms. Kimmy. She was a longtime member of Union Baptist Church and a graduate of Dunbar High School. She was proceeded in death by Gloria Henderson (mother), Matthew Massey (father) and Vessie Henderson (grandmother). She leaves behind a loving daughter, Dominique Miller to cherish her memory. She also leaves behind five brothers, Willie Henderson, Darryl Henderson, Timothy Maloney, Terry Maloney and Steven Maloney; three sisters, Gwen Massey, Pam Massey and Victoria Massey. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at H. H. Roberts. The family will receive friends 12-1 P.M. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery. HHRoberts.com

I just learned of Ms Kimmy's passing yesterday. She was my buddy at Kroger & my daughter & I will truly miss her askng us how we are doing. She always smiled when she saw us. Going to Kroger will not be the same! Praying for the family.

I did'nt know Kim by name until I saw her picture in the obituary. She was most definitely a valuable asset to Kroger's! Everytime I saw her she always spoke and a courteous smile. Her family has my deepest sympathy.

I am sorry for your loss. Kimmy had a great heart and loved by so many. I too, had just saw her at my store and she requested to see me. It was busy and she was exchanging a heater with her sister. I hugged her and we shared about our daughters. May you rest in peace because you are now with the best "baby daddy" our Father.

Oh how I wish I could have talked to you just one more time. I called you Wednesday because you were on my mind ...now I know why. My heart is so heavy, my body so numb, at times I'm just speechless as my tears continue to come. I loved you like a sister and I always will,never will I forget you that's just how I feel. To Dominique, Willie, Darryl, Gwen, Pam, Victoria and Kims nieces and nephews, take comfort in knowing that a part of Kim lives on in each and everyone of you. One thing I do know is Kim loved you all very much. She was proud of her family and she loved you and it showed. Where to begin... There was not ever a time that I seen you that you didn't make me laugh. My sister's best friend who quickly jumped into her role after she went home to be with the Lord back in 04'. We didn't see each other on a daily basis but when we did we didn't miss a beat. To Dominique, Bllie and all of Kim's family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless each and everyone of you. Kim and I had a long history which started when she was in high school. She stayed in touch after moving to Arkansas and after returning to Dayton. She affectionately called me and my husband "Mom and Dad" and she was kind and funny through the years. We enjoyed spending time with Kim and Dominique and she will be missed. Dominique, continue your goal because your mom was so very, very proud of you and wanted you to do well. You where a DEAR friend, a TRUE friend and I miss you already. Your sense of humor was off the chain and your words weren't always KIND but they were TRUE AND DIRECT. Wow this is hard to swallow. Kroger/Siebenthaler will never be the same. Kimmy and I was just talking about her daughter being in Chicago. Kimmy was a great woman and OMG was she hilarious with her great sense of humor. I will cherish the laughs and the talks Kimmy-you will truly be missed.
