Kristy CROPPER Obituary


News Death Notice

CROPPER, Kristy Rose age 51, of Dayton, departed this life on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Cynthiana, KY on December 31, 1961 to the late Rebecca (Clark) and James Cropper. She was a graduate of Beavercreek HS and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. She loved the family vacations she went on every year and looked forward to the walks on the beach with her daughter. Kristy managed the family business, Connells Bar, for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Katy Rose Cropper ; 2 brothers, Ricky A. Cropper and James N. Cropper (Gina); 1 special aunt, Pea Ogden; 1 niece, Gina R. Mellon, and 1 great-niece, Kieran (Lexi) Mitchell; and by her beloved dog, Ritchie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca and James Cropper, and by 1 sister, Kimberly Ann Mellon. Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, on Sunday, November 24 from 5-7 PM with funeral services to follow on Monday, November 25 at 10 AM. Burial at Valley View Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Kristy Cropper to the OSU Transplant Center Fund # 312346, 1480 W. Lane Ave, Columbus Ohio 43221.
