ASTOR, Leona Hardin (Roberts) 86, of Miamisburg, passed away on June 13, 2008. Leona's husband, John J. Astor & parents, Wilbur & Permelia Roberts, precede her in death. She is survived by her sister Onabel Pressler of Cape Coral, FL, her son Denny (Lisa) Astor of Marietta, GA, & 3 daughters; Beverly Astor Smothers of West Carrollton, OH, Barbara Astor (Warren Krass) of Bellbrook, OH, Debbie Astor (Joe) Lolly of Miamisburg, OH, & 9 grandchildren; Tim (Lisa) Astor of Peoria, AZ, Rosemary (Greg) Bell of Centerville, OH, Michael (Jill) Crossman of Atlanta, GA, Hunter Astor of Marietta, GA, Samantha (Rob) Dutcher of Madison, WI, Michael Lingenfelter of Miamisburg, currently stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL & Cole Lingenfelter of Miamisburg, currently stationed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA, Andi Scanlon (Chris) Owen of Miamisburg, OH, & Brian Lolly of Las Vegas, Nevada & 5 great-grandchildren; Kristen & Zachary Bell, Melanie Owen, Ethan Astor, & Ben Dutcher. Friends may call @ noon on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Brough-Getts Funeral Home, 102 S. Second St. Miamisburg, OH 45342. Memorial Service will begin at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VITAS Hospice @ www.vitascharityfund.org or by calling 1-877-800-2951. Donation envelopes will be available @ service.

After all these years, every time I think of Leona it makes me smile inside. I have many memories of her that make me laugh. She was a wonderful person and she definitely left her mark in the world.

Leona was a true friend and a wonderful person. I remember talking and joking with her over the years. I think of her often and she will always be in my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We wish we could have been there. She will truly be missed. We wish she could have met her great grandson Ethan but we will let him know how great of a Mammaw she was. We love you Mammaw.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We love and will miss Leona very much and she will continue to live in our hearts forever. Mom was very happy to have visited Leona last fall and I wish I could have made it to the service, but we will both be there in spirit.
