Family-Placed Obituary
YEARICK, M. Lorraine 78 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. Lorraine was born January 18, 1926, the daughter of John Ray and Effa Mariah Vance. She was a member of Sigma Alpha Tau and attended Otterbein College. Lorraine was a loving wife and faithful friend. She was a dedicated homemaker and many besides her children considered her "mother." Lorraine is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Walter Yearick; children, Glenn (Jan) Yearick, John Yearick, Nancy (Eric) Harbison and Robert Yearick; sister, Dorothy Cunningham; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret Rychener and Eleanor Patton; and brother, John Vance. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Pastor Glenn Yearick will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to a memorial fund in Lorraine's memory.
