McCABE, Marian L., 87, formerly of Kettering and Centerville passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1996 and 1 brother Dean Moots. Marian was very active in the Christ United Methodist Church and was named Mother of the Year in the early 60's. She was a member of the Women's Society of the Christ United Methodist Church. Marian graduated from Fairview High School in 1937. She is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law; Nancy K. (Gary) Vavul of Dayton, OH, 1 son and daughter- in-law; John A. (Karen) McCabe of Newark, OH; 4 grandchildren; Michael McCabe, Christopher McCabe, Stacy Vavul and Ashley Vavul; 2 great-grandchildren; Johnnie McCabe and David McCabe. 2 sisters; Kathleen Richman of Celina, OH and Mary Jean Wiser of Farmersville, OH; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday September 18, 2007 at the Routsong Funeral Home. 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH with Rev. John Parent officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Park Cemetery in Harrison Township. The family will receive friends on Monday, 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
