Martha changed my life in high school. In 9th grade I came in as the kid that had been bullied in elementary school. I wanted to re invent myself and was on the cusp of becoming a bully. Martha made me see that all people had value. I kept that attitude. We had lost contact and about 8 years ago I found her thru her brother Greg. We met over lunch and I made sure I told her how she changed my life. She thought I would have gone the way I did wo her. Ha! Our last time together was at our last high school reunion . I begged her to come. Glad I did. In one of our meetings before that she had given me a garlic holder. I will always remember her when I use it.

Martha and I were great friends in high school who reconnected at our last class reunion before Covid. We planned to get together...but Covid --and life got in the way. Unfortunately our last meeting took place in Hospice. I will always remember the fun times we shared and the beauty of her spirit. All my condolences to her family and friends who mourn for Martha. May she always live in the beautiful memories we have of her.
