YOUNG, Matthew D. age 21 of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. Matt was born on June 30, 1991 in Kettering. He is survived by his mother and step father, Julie and Ron Millard; father, Mike Young; sisters, Brandi Melinich & Laci Richards; brothers, Josh Young and Chris Millard; grandparents, Vera Young, Jerry & Phyllis Rieger, and Dottie Millard; and numerous other relatives & Friends. He attended W. Carrollton High School and was employed by the Submarine House. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery County Juvenile Court for Drug Court, 380 W. Matt... The last time I ran into you was at South Community. You were still battling your addiction. I'm sorry I didn't have any great words of wisdom to offer you. I'm sorry for the loss we are all suffering, but I believe you fought a good fight. I remember our long talks and I take comfort in the fact that a part of you will live on in so many others. Matt was such an amazing person. He always made me laugh when I really needed it. he was always with me and Janelle.
