News Death Notice

McCONNELL, Max H. Age 52, of Brookville, passed away, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Norma McConnell & sister-in-law Linda Kimerling. Known as "The Wizard of Weld," Max, a retired welder from Delphi. He enjoyed the outdoors as an avid fisherman & member of the Miami Valley Outdoor Club. Max is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jennifer, daughters Brandy & husband Chad Lewis, New Lebanon, Jasmine & husband John Grossnickle, Troy, & Nicole McKenzie, Clayton; grandchildren Cade, Izaac, Katelynn & Casey, sisters Arlene (Russell) Strader, Union & Nancy (John) Baldasare, Vandalia; numerous nieces, nephews & many special friends. Graveside Service will be held, 11AM, Monday, Jan. 5 at the Bear Creek Cemetery, Trotwood. Visitation 2-5PM Sunday at the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Rd., Brookville. If desired, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Southern Ohio Chapter, 2300 Wall Street, Ste H, Cincinnati, OH 45212.
