Please accept my sympathies. I knew Mike since second grade. He was a wonderful singer and I would run into him at Books & Company. He will be greatly missed by all of us from Fairmont East. My prayers are with you at this sad time.

My prayers to all of the Rose family and Mike's loved ones.
Mike always rolled with the punches even when the punches were hard. He maintained an outward humility and compassion when others classmates may have not. He greeted all with a sincere soul and asked nothing in return.
I am saddened to know of his passing, but know that his time with all of us in different times in our lives was encouraging and a gift.
May he continue to guide others to laugh and sing and be encouraged in his memory.
Blessings to all.

I am so sorry for your loss as Mike was that rare combination of kindness, compassion, and intelligence. Those of us who worked with him through Books & Co., in whatever capacity, knew him to be a dear friend and a very wise man. He will be missed greatly.

I am devastated to hear of Mike's passing. I sold books to Mike for many years, and always looked forward to our bi-annual meetings. He had such a passion for books, and was always one of the most agreeable and kindest of all the buyers I have known. In the last couple years, I have only seen him a handful of times- but I always left his company with a smile on my face. My prayers are with your family.
With deepest sympathy-

Had not had any news of Mike since I moved to California in 1970, but he was always part of my many memories of growing up in Kettering. One of the first kids I met when I came to Prass in the 2nd grade. A terrific kid--great sense of humor and incredibly smart. I am sure he is missed by all whose paths he crossed.

To the Rose Family,
I worked with Mike for more than 13 years at Books & Co. I have never met a more gentle, kind and compassionate gentleman. Mary Reiss was my mentor, Mike was a great friend. No one knew books like he did and was always willing to share that knowledge. I'm sorry I can't be at the viewing but please know that my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you tomorrow and in the future.

My deepest sympathies. Mike and I attended school together from elementary school through high school. While our paths hadn't crossed since our 20th? high school reunion, I remember him as kind and smart person. At our 35th year reunion several of his high school friends were asking about him. Sorry for you loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

We were so sad to hear of Mike's passing. I met Mike through my wife, Deb who worked with him for many years at Books&Co. I will always remember his sense of humor, quick wit,and his great taste/knowledge of contemporary music which we often discussed. He was a good man and now he's in a better place...perhaps with his special friend, Mary. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed. God Bless You, Mike.
