I just learned of your loss of Michelle. We worked at Coomers craft mall together. Was so sad to hear of Michelle's passing. We had good times working and crafting. Michelle painted in my house on a little wall with all the homes with numbers that we had lived in our military moves. It is still there. Over all 10 yrs since Coomers closed, I have been reminded of Michelle with this painting. I have a blanket that she made with a snowman on it. Every Christmas I bring it out and think about the fun parties we had at Holidays. Brian, you and Bre were her talks over and over. Bre it is nice to see you grown up. Beautiful. I know this is late, but my heart aches for your loss. May God bless you.

To my classmate John Palmer [1955 Central Catholic High, Ft. Lauderdale, FL], Michelle's father, and to the family of Michelle Hale I extend my sincere sympathy to each of you for the terrible loss of Michelle in this tragic accident. What I, and I hope others will take away from this terrifying event is that as each of us drive -- to think of Michelle whenever you pass a jogger, a bicycle rider, a walker or any other vunerable person on or near the road. May God Bless her and keep her and his light shine upon her.

The Hale Family,
I am thinking of you often. I worked closely with Michelle when she began working in A4, and we would chat often. Usually about nothing important, gossiping, work related topics, or catching up on family affairs. I have been thinking of Michelle often, and thinking about the kind of person she was. The one thing that struck me to my core about Michelle was her unwavering love of her family, and her sense of duty to support all of you. On her first day she told me that family comes first. I hope you know that her love for you shown through every day that I saw her. She was always a very happy person. All my best.

We offer our deepest sympathy. When tragedy strikes and takes the life of our loved ones, many cry out with great sorrow. Your tears are not unnoticed by the Creator of Life. Never was it his purpose for our human lives to be taken away. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, prayer to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible assures us God "is healing the broken hearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." Psalm 147:3. I want you to know that it is o.k. to still feel hurt and sadness even though we have a strong faith in God. Romans 15:4 says, “All things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.” We do receive comfort from the scriptures, but we also have to endure. It is so wonderful to know that Jehovah God remembers all who succumb to death, and promises that we will see our loved ones again. “The hour is coming in which all in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” John 5:28, 29. So God did not take your loved one or it would be foolish to resurrect him in the future. James 1:13 says with evil things God cannot be tried. You can be sure you will see her again. Our hearts and prayers are with the family.

Dear Hale family,
My heart ached as I heard of the loss of your beautiful Michelle. I knew her from your days in Centreville as my children went to CRES where she worked. Michelle was a delightful spirit that brighten many of my days. Her smile will live on in my head forever. Her silly screen saver of a dog licking the screen will be a memory for my children remember her by. I know her sudden departure is hard to understand and shockening for all of you. I hope as you look back on her life there are smiles on your faces from happy memories that you share. May peace be with you in your time of sorrow. I know Michelle will watching over you. Godspeed.

To the Hale family & Ronnie, Stewart & Georgia
We were shocked and saddened by your unexpected loss. You have our deepest sympathy at this very sad time.
It is times like this that put our faith to the test. We feel that is why we have to use our faith to see us through the grief and despair that comes with tragedy.
We think your wife would want us to keep her memory alive in expressing our faith. All our prayers should remind us of the loving and compassionate person that she was.
The Bible says "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." We pray that God will bless you and your family and give you the strength to get through this very difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

All of you were so warm and welcoming whenever I came over to your house in Germany. I would like to just say thank you and I am sorry for the loss you have suffered. To the Hale Family,

I got to know Michelle from our time together in the "Henhouse" our online group. She always had us in stitches from some story or joke she told us.
We got to experience Germany thru her eyes and the photo's she sent to our group. We also got to watch Brianna grow up as Michelle shared with us one of her three "pride and joys".
While time took us to different groups and we didn't connect as often she always was a great reminder of fun times. Our coop will have an empty "nest" without Michelle.
I pray that your family will find peace in the Lord and know that Michelle will always be with you in your hearts and memories.

August 27, 2009

To Brian and family,

I met Michelle online through a quilting community, and we chatted a mile a minute on AOL's instant messenger. That's where we really hit it off. She had a very quick wit, as you know, and we had a ball. We swapped quilt blocks and she even sent me clothes she'd made and patterns she no longer needed because Breanna had outgrown them.

We lost touch after I returned to work and she moved a few times but I'd been trying to find her on facebook and our quilting groups without luck in the last few months... I will miss her, and remember her forever. She was my green-eyed friend (we both have green eyes - just something we always said to each other). She was always supportive and ready with a funny, drag-you-out-of-the-dumps story.

My heart aches for all of you. My wish is that the warm memories will comfort you and help you through this greatest of losses.

We all appreciate the Love and comforting thought sent our way, Thank you everyone!

August 26, 2009

To Michelle's family,
I met Michelle at a Book Club organized by my neighbor Sandy Berry. The last time I saw Michelle, she was SO excited about Logan's impending birth, and we had a long discussion about her new title, "Bella." ; the name so fit her! My heart goes out to all of you.

Words cannot express how very sorry I was to hear of Michelle's passing. I knew her from an online quilting community and was privileged to have had the chance to meet her on several occasions while she lived in Illinois. It really breaks my heart to know that Michelle is gone. Although I only knew her briefly from her participation on a large committee that we worked (Wright Patterson AFB, Sports Day). Her smile was so warm and just resonated. You could just tell she had a sweet soul. To her family, through these difficult times please stay strong, and remember that what matters is not the duration of life, but the donation of it, not how long you lived, but how you lived it.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

I've known Michelle through our on-line quilt group since our kids were about 5. It was amazing how much we had in common as Brenna and Ethan grew up. Her love of quilting and running gave us a lot to chat about, my husband runs too. Her stories of Brian and Brenna were amazing, especially their time in Germany. She really loved all the quick sight seeing trips they took. She had a sense of humor that was such a big part of her personality that you just couldn't help but love her. Her card making had become as amazing and her quilting. She was a very talented and wonderful person and will be missed by all. Our hearts go out to Brian, the kids and her family.

Brian & Brenna,
I've had the pleasure meeting both of you several times. I have alot of fond memories working closely with Michelle in the A4 Front Office. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't have a smile on her face the lit up the room each time she entered. She was a very warm, loving and caring person that always thought of others. Michelle loved her family very much. There wasn't a day that went by that she wasn't bragging about them like the proud mom/wife she was. She was so proud to become a grandma 'bella' that she couldn't smile enough when talking about her 'Logan'. Michelle will be missed by everyone she touched in the short time she was here, especially those of the A4 Front Office Staff and the A4 Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Brenna during this difficult time. Michelle will always be our beloved 'Bella'. God Bless...

I remember so many mornings Michelle running past my home . Some days were hot, others days were windy or cold, and yet she still ran. I thought how inspiring it was to see her running daily. So dedicated, so strong, enjoying the freedom of our safe community. My heart goes out to her friends and family. We are so very sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you.
