November 7, 2009

Dear Jay, Jim and Chloe,
Midge was a favorite sister in Chapter DA P.E.O. Sisterhood of Dayton. Her infectious smile, and outgoing ways made her a great member of our group. As recently as a month or so ago we were remembering her fondly and hoping she was doing well. Please know she has been missed ever since she moved from Dayton. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincerely, Cindy Stevens, President of Chapter DA

My prayers are with Ms. Battin's family. I began working at the Dayton Area Chapter of American Red Cross right out of high school in 1966 and Ms. Battin was a memorable member of the Red Cross family.
